Omah Lay & Tems Charged To Court In Uganda For Disobeying COVID-19 Guidelines

According to a tweet from Ugandan Police, Nigerian singer Omah Lay, Tems have been charged to a courtroom in Uganda for disobeying COVID-19 guidelines.


The singer Omah Lay and songstress Tems, had been arrested and detained for acting at an unauthorized live performance and for disobeying pointers put in place for decreasing the unfold of COVID-19.


The occasion which was tagged The Big Brunch held at Speke Resort, Wavamunno Rd, Kampala, Uganda. The singers had been collectively charged with 4 different Ugandans and so they all shall be remanded until Wednesday December 16, 2020.

The Nigerian trio of Stanley Omah Didia alias Omah Lay, Temilade Openyi alias Tems and Muyiwa Awomiyi have been charged to courtroom in Makindye on expenses of Negligently doing acts prone to unfold an infectious illnesses C/S 171 of the Penal Code Act.

The earlier plans of releasing them on police bond had been suspended after their casefile was sanctioned by the Office of the DPP.
